Giving

We believe that giving of our time and resources is an act of worship and an expression of our faith.


For those who call FaithWestwood home, regular giving also supports the ministries and operation of our church plus our outreach to the local and global community.

4% in 40 Days Lenten Giving Challenge

Traditionally, Lent is a season when Christians are encouraged to give up something as they prepare their hearts for Easter.


The 4% in 40 Days Challenge invites our church community to add something to their Lenten spiritual journey instead.


The Challenge

For those in our church family who filled out a 2026 FaithCommitment, you are invited to donate an amount equal to 4% of your FaithCommitment for this challenge as part of your spiritual journey during Lent. 


(Those who did not fill out a 2026 FaithCommitment are invited to participate with prayer or a donation as you are able as well.)


The Goal: To Support FaithWestwood's Family Ministry

Going forward, FaithWestwood will direct the 4% in 40 Days funds to our Family Ministry and the four major outreach events we host each year -- the Easter Eggstravaganza, Vacation Bible School, Trunk or Treat, and the Live Nativity.


To Participate

  • Please pick up a 4% in 40 Days Commitment Form from the foyer on Sundays or in the office during the week. 
  • Complete it and drop it in the offering bucket on Sunday or mail it to the church. 
  • Or, you may fill out an online version of the form here.
  • To complete your gift, please drop your donation in an offering bucket on Sundays or mail it to the FW office. You may also give online or by text. Instructions are below on this page. The text giving code for this campaign is 40Days.

    1. Text (833) 657-4016
    2. Type $ and any dollar amount, then the word give (i.e. $20.00 give) 
    3. Follow the prompts to set up your account, if needed.
    4. Save as a contact for future text giving.


    To give by text to a specific Mission Offering Focus:
    1. Text (833) 657-4016
    2. Type $ and any dollar amount, then the giving code for the offering you are giving to (i.e. $20.00 VBS) Giving codes are provided for each week's Mission Offering Focus in worship and in your Monday FaithConnect email.
    3. Follow the prompts to set up your account, if needed.
    4. Save as a contact for future text giving.
