Coming Soon @ FaithWestwood

  • I AM worship series - July & August

    I AM

    Sundays, July & August

    9 & 10:45 am, in person & online

First Saturday, July 6, 5:30pm, upstairs chapel, in person only

In July and August, we will worship with two concurrent sermon series under the umbrella titled I Am.

    • First Saturday 5:30 pm & Sunday 9 am - We'll visit some of the neglected voices in the Bible, diving deeper into characters and stories we don't hear as much.
    • Sunday 10:45 am - We'll explore the I Am sayings of Jesus in the Gospel of John with a the family-friendly and generational focus.

    Coming Sunday, July 28

    9 am

    Courage...I Am Nathan

    2 Samuel 12:1-14

King David sinned, and the LORD sent Nathan to speak the truth in love to David. As he utilizes a parable to tell this story, David is convicted of the truth, confesses, and repents. How can we claim courage to speak the truth in love to those that we love as well as to repent of our sin?

    10:45 am

    I Am...The Good Shepherd

    John 10:11-18

Jesus declares that the Good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep who know him. Hired hands run away in times of danger and don’t care for the sheep like the shepherd. Today, how can we, like sheep, listen to the Shepherd’s voice and claim Jesus as the Good Shepherd?

Note: For the June, July & August series, there is no study guide for FaithGroups and individuals.

This is a fantastic way for FaithWestwood to celebrate community – and if you are online, don’t worry – we’ll have some fun ways for you to connect as well. Message description & Scripture:

    Servanthood…I Am Baruch & I Am Phoebe

    Jeremiah 36:1-9 & Romans 16:1-2

In the Old Testament, Baruch served in a very important role as Jeremiah’s scribe. In the New Testament, Phoebe is lifted up as a deacon, benefactor, and servant of the church. How might these witnesses inspire our servanthood?

  • Backpack blessing August 4

  • T.A.c.o. Sunday August 4

    What is T.A.C.O.?

Each year, volunteers from FaithWestwood gather to enjoy tacos then fill goodie bags with treats and supplies for the teachers and staff to our neighbors at Central Middle School.

    This Year is Different!

This year, we’re expanding this yearly tradition into an intergenerational potluck event and a chance for all of FaithWestwood to gather in fellowship on August 4 for a taco meal and to fill the goodie bags for CMS.

It's a Potluck! What Will You Bring?

The taco meat is arranged, but everyone will have an opportunity to contribute the extras – chips, cheese, sour cream, salsa, etc. – and desserts too.

  • Four or more for Faithworks pantry

Introducing Four (or More!) for FaithWorks Pantry!

    How it Works

    • Keep This List: The pantry has put together a list of the 48 items they use the most throughout the year.
    • Shop: When you shop for your groceries each month, add an item or two from this list -- with the goal of a minimum of four items per month.
    • Donate: Bring your donation to the canvas collection bin in the church foyer on Sunday mornings or drop them off by the FW offices during the week.

If everyone at FaithWestwood participates in Four (or More!), we can significantly reduce our pantry's expenses and continue our commitment to serve the patrons twice a month.

Thank you for your continued support of FaithWorks Pantry.
