Who did you miss seeing during the pandemic? Relatives? Co-workers? Classmates? You could probably come up with a long list! Maybe you had to rely on phone calls or video conversations. Our reunions were delayed, but they are so important.
The Apostle Paul was delayed in coming to Rome, so he wrote a letter to Jesus’s people there. He said, “I long to see you” (Romans 1:11). Finally, the day came when they could see each other face to face.
Order of Service (new available each week by Thursday afternoon)
In the Bible, Jesus said go.
And during Outside the Walls on Sunday, September 12, that's exactly what we're going to do.
Outside the Walls is a special Sunday when the congregation at FaithWestwood leaves the building and their usual worship services behind and heads out into the community to serve. Local schools, local non-profits, area parks, individual's homes, even another church -- we've identified several projects across the city, and we're headed their way as God's hands and feet.
On September 12, there will be NO REGULAR WORSHIP. Instead, we'll meet at FaithWestwood at 9:00 a.m. for a send-off rally, bursting with encouragement for our teams as they disperse to their projects.
Many different projects are available -- for all interests and ability levels. Sign-ups begin August 15. Look for information in worship, in your Monday FaithConnect email, and at faithwestwood.com/outsidethewalls.
Buildings are nice...but building a Kingdom is better.
We can't wait to serve alongside you with Outside the Walls!
