Coming Soon @ FaithWestwood

  • Gifted worship series through October 20

    You are Gifted!

The Holy Spirit has given you spiritual gifts to use within the community of faith, the church! And in our worship series Gifted, September 8 - October 20, we'll explore these gifts together as one body of faith in worship, study, and service.

    In Worship

The Gifted worship series will focus on scripture that allows us to respond to three questions: what are spiritual gifts, what are MY spiritual gifts, and how can I USE my spiritual gifts? In person & online.

    In Study

FaithGroups and individuals can discover their spiritual gifts as well as their relational style and life passion through the book What You Do Best by Bruce Bugbee. The book will be available to purchase in the foyer on Sundays. Utilizing the spiritual gifts inventory in the book, FaithWestwood will be able to help match our faith family members with opportunities to serve in the church that utilize their unique spiritual gifts.

    In Service

God gives each of us unique spiritual gifts to utilize in service of his kingdom in the best way we can. Throughout the series, watch for ways you can support our FaithWorks Pantry, Outside the Walls, and other ministries of FaithWestwood and our community.

    Coming Saturday, October 13, 9 & 10:45 am

    Walking, Jumping & Praising God

    Acts 3:1-10

Peter and John encounter a man who was lame from birth. The man was begging, yet Peter offers what he has, in the name of Jesus Christ. The man is healed! How do we offer the gifts that we have when needed most?

Note: On Sunday, October 13, our Mission Offering Focus will be for the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). If you would like to give now, please visit faithwestwood.com/about-us/give for information about online and text giving. The special code for online/text giving for this offering is UMCOR.
