Vision Luncheon 2026
On Sunday, January 25, 2026, FaithWestwood held its second annual
Vision Luncheon in fellowship hall.
And it was a success!
Over 80 church family members & friends enjoyed lunch together and celebrated FaithWestwood's wins from 2025.
We also heard from the Reimagine Team about their work finalizing our Strategic Goals for 2026 and for the next 3-5 years, centering around our core values to be Generational, Relational, Missional, Practical, and Invitational.
In addition, we looked ahead to new ministries and opportunities for 2026 and heard about the staff title updates stemming from their updated job descriptions in 2025.
So Much to Share - We Want to Connect with You
If you were unable to attend the Vision Luncheon, we don't want you to miss the valuable information we shared.
Please check out the 2026 Vision Luncheon Brochure for details about celebrations, strategic goals, and updates shared at 2026 the Vision Luncheon.
Now We Want to Hear From You - the 2026 Vision Luncheon Survey
At the luncheon, participants had the opportunity to complete a survey that will help the Reimagine Team assess additional priorities and goals.
Your feedback is an invaluable part of this process.
Please take a few moments to look over the survey below and respond.
We recommend reviewing the Vision Luncheon Brochure before filling out the survey below as you will need some of that information to respond to the questions.
2026 Vision Luncheon Survey here.
The survey will be open until Tuesday, February 10.
We have so much to celebrate and look forward to at FaithWestwood!
Thank you for your participation and your valuable feedback!
The Micah Center
In the beginning of this vision process, we referred to the spaces on our first floor as the “lower level” or the “16,000 square foot” space.
Later in 2025, we named and claimed the lower level in the building as the Micah Center, which allows us to designate that space for expanding mission and ministry for both the church and the community.
The name Micah Center was inspired by Micah 6:8 NIV:
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Exciting New Partnership in Mission & Ministry
On Pentecost in June 2025, Reverend Cindi announced in worship a new ministry partnership for the use of part of the space in our Micah Center on our lower level.
In July 2025, FaithWestwood was excited and honored to welcome new partners in faith and community -- Mosaic.
Mosaic is a faith-based organization serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other diverse needs.
Their purpose statement reads: We are called to love and serve.
FaithWestwood embraces opportunities to love and serve others, such as through our FaithWorks Pantry, our pantry garden and other outreach ministries. Through a three-year lease agreement with Mosaic, FaithWestwood will provide space for Mosaic's Omaha-area offices and for a “hub,” which is a meeting space for people supported to begin their day of activities in the community.
FaithWestwood is excited to embrace where the Spirit has led us as individuals and as a church.
FaithWorks Pantry Expansion
Also in 2025, the Board of Trustees approved the expansion of our FaithWorks Pantry. Since 2021, this amazing ministry has more than doubled the average number of families it serves!
The expansion plus the added storage room will triple the space available to better serve our patrons, allow for future growth, and continue our investment in the community we serve.
The cost of materials is supportedy by your generous donations to our Greater Love offerings. And our 5Ms FaithGroup was able to provide 100% of the labor to complete this project!
Progress Continues
Work continued in the Micah Center all through 2025 -- skillfully executed by our 5Ms faithgroup and many other volunteers.
