Tai Chi is a slow, gentle, non-strenuous exercise routine that has been proven to improve balance and decrease the risk of falls. Tai Chi is also associated with other health benefits including reducing blood pressure, improving sleep and decreasing stress.
Our instructor, Paula Allen, is a certified tai chi instructor who has taught tai chi in a wide variety of settings in the Omaha area for more than 4 years. Paula holds a BA in Occupational Therapy and a Master’s degree in Public Administration.
Tai Chi for Balance meets Mondays and Thursdays from 1:00 - 1:45 p.m. Enter through the west entrance.
Masks are required at ALL Tai Chi for Balance meetings at FaithWestwood, regardless of city requirements.
SCHEDULING NOTE:
Tai Chi is NOT scheduled on the following dates in 2022: April 18, May 30, June 13, June 16, July 4, September 5, November 24, December 26.
