Thanksgiving Turkey Bags

Saturday, November 18 from 10 AM until supplies are exhausted (we are hoping to have 350 bags this year)

We are also in need of Reusable Shopping Bags that will be filled with all the Goodies. Bags can be dropped off in the foyer on top of the Pantry donation box.

Together is a homelessness prevention organization that aims to support working families and keep them in their homes. We are pleased to partner with them through donations and food collection drives.

Millard Central Middle School is our neighbor to the West. As a Project PAYBAC Partner we are continually looking for ways to expand our relationship with the school. We are happy to provide volunteers in the school, meals for teachers, and donations such as school supplies and winter coats.

Outside the Walls every August we host our Outside the Walls volunteer day where teams from the church work throughout the city. It is an opportunity to expand our understanding of the different needs in our community and those who are working to meet those needs.

MISSIONS // In our nation

The Middle School and High School Students of FaithWestwood embark on annual mission trips around the country.

In 2011, an Emergency Relief Fund was established to provide resources to regional communities affected by disaster.

MISSIONS // in our world

We assist in a sponsorship of Jay and Susan Mundy, members of FaithWestwood, who are serving as pilot missionaries with

Africa Inland Mission to Nairobi, Kenya.

Costa Rica

Missionary Support - We collect offerings to help fund Carlos Mestayer's mission work as our liaison at CFCI (Christ for the City International) in Costa Rica.

Mission Trip - We provide an opportunity for teams from the church to visit Costa Rica. We spend a week serving with Carlos and the other missionaries, to gain a better understanding of how we can continue to serve the people of Costa Rica once we return to Omaha.
