Impact after school program

Impact is a faith-based after school program for Millard Central Middle School students. Impacting students with the message of Jesus Christ, our desire is to provide a safe, student-friendly place where they can have fun and learn more about Jesus!

Program Schedule

August 14, 2017- June 1, 2018

Not in session during holidays, vacations, snow days or half days

2017 - 2018 Tuition

Registration Fee - $25.00 per school year

Full-time - $175.00  per month

Part-time - $100.00 per month

Costs are not adjusted for holiday and vacation months. The cost is fixed based on term of the program, considering all vacation days, holidays and inclement weather days.

Program Requirements

Enrollment capacity: 15 students accepted on a first come-first served basis. *Must have all paperwork filled out and fees paid to be considered. Confirmation of enrollment will be mailed to the accepted applicants.

Daily Procedure

Our staff walks up to Millard Central each day to meet students in the common area in front of the school office. We walk with students back to FaithWestwood.

Pickup Time at School - 3:00 pm

Pickup Time at FaithWestwood UMC - No later than 5:30 PM

Program Structure

The Impact program includes relationship building exercises, organized games, tutoring, mentoring and devotions, as well as snack time and homework sessions. Our devotions are very unique. We try to meet the kids right where they are and discuss relevant matters of the heart as well have having some serving opportunities throughout the year.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If my child has after school activities, can he or she walk down later?
    • Yes. Included in the application packet is a waiver to allow your student to walk to FaithWestwood on their own. Please note that your child is not considered our responsibility until they have checked in to Impact at the church.
  • What is the policy for checking my child out?
    • We require that a parent/guardian or previously approved adult check out each student in order for that student to leave Impact. The application packet includes a section that outlines which individuals may check out each student. 
  • How do I pay for Impact?
    • Payment is due the 10th of each month. Payments can be submitted in cash, check, or online. 
      • To pay online:

        • Enter amount into the IMPACT TUITION PAYMENT box
        • The site will prompt you to enter your banking information to initiate an EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
        • You may choose to set up a recurring payment at the same time

  • Does Impact accept Title XX credits?
    • Yes
  • If I am paying for my student to attend part-time, what happens if he or she attends more than ten days?
    • If you student attends at a full-time rate for a part-time month, you will be billed the difference during the next billing cycle. 
  • Does my student need to be enrolled for the entire school year?
    • Because we bill tuition monthly, your student's enrollment does not need to be for the entire year; however, because of students waiting to get into the program, after you disenroll your student we cannot guarantee a place for your student if you wish him or her to return to Impact later in the year. 
  • When does enrollment begin for the 2017-2018 school year?
    • Enrollment for new students will open on May 1.
