  • GriefShare

It hurts to lose a loved one -- and it's even more difficult without someone to talk to.

GriefShare is a national Christian ministry for those grieving the death -- recent or in the past -- of someone close. Thousands of GriefShare support groups meet all over the world and find caring, supportive people ready to help them navigate the difficult process of grieving.

For more information or to register, contact Vikki O'Hara, Director of Caring Ministries, at 402-650-9489. Or send an email to vikki.ohara@faithwestwood.com.

  • Blanketed with Prayer

The Blanketed with Prayer team knits and crochets prayer shawls and ties fleece prayer blankets for anyone in the congregation, their friends, or family who may be experiencing one of life's challenges -- illness, hospitalization, grief, or loss. They also create afghans for new babies in the congregation and for our Love & Learn Child Development Center. And they donate scarves, hats, blankets, and shawls to local nursing homes and Project Harmony.
