The Greatest Comeback

Luke 24:1-12; 1 Corinthians 15:50-55

The opening round was brutal for the challenger Life. Formerly undefeated and undisputed champion Death pummeled Life with blow after stinging blow. By mid-afternoon Friday, spectators were already dispersing, assuming the fight was over. Death celebrated that evening and throughout the second day. Then in the third, Life surprised even its biggest fans.

“Death has been swallowed up in victory” (1 Corinthians 15:54).

9:00 a.m. traditional - in person & online

  • Traditional hymns, Chancel Choir, Children's Time, Monologue - Mary Magdalene, Communion & Prayer

10:00 - 11:00 a.m. - Outdoor Easter Story-Walk Worship in Oaks Park, across the street from FaithWestwood

  • A full outdoor worship experience with music, prayer, scripture, and the story 'Twas the Morning of Easter
  • To allow families to worship together, there is no Sunday School at either the 9am or 10:45am service on Easter morning. We welcome and appreciate kids at ALL of our worship services, but kids may especially enjoy the Story Walk in addition to another service.
